Control Officer t Paris, enquiring
regarding the grant of visas to
Jewish Refugees for the purpose of
proceeding to Hong Kong.
2. In reply I am to request
you to inform the S. of S. for F.A's
that it is understood that economic
conditions in Hong Kong are at present
in a depressed state, and that there
is a not inconsiderable amount of
unemployment in the Colony. In
